NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK APRIL 10 - 16

Sunday April 10, 1:30pm  Meet Benjamin Franklin  Step back in time and meet
the scientist, inventor, statesman and printer.  Benjamin Franklin was the founder of the
first library in the United States.  It is he who the City of Franklin is named after.  Following
the program he will be available to pose for pictures! 
All ages welcome NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Sunday April 10 after Benjamin Franklin, TOUR YOUR PUBLIC LIBRARY
It has been almost three years since we first dedicated the "new Franklin Public Library".
If you did not have a chance to attend the dedication or would just like to see what has
happened in the last three years, please plan on attending this library tour.  It will
also include "behind the scenes" work areas.
Then join us for refreshments courtesy of the Friends of Franklin Public Library in the
Fadrow Room.
Tuesday April 12, 6:30-7:30 pm  Lawn Care presented by Master Gardener John
Hahn  Mr Hahn will speak about how to grow and maintain an healthy lawn.  There will be
time for questions at the end of his presentation.  NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Wednesday April 13, 6:00-7:30 pm Celebrate Children Day Family Reading
program sponsored by the Franklin Area Junior Woman's Club. Each session will
include several stories and a craft.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED signup will
start on Monday March 21, either in person or by calling the library at 425-8214.
                                                  
Thursday April 14, 7:00-8:00 pm Improving Your Golf Game with Mark Theine,
assistant pro at Brynwood Country Club. Mark will give tips and advice on how to
improve your game. Please bring a putter with you to this event.
