Storytimes

January 8 - April 30

2 and 3 year olds Wednesdays - 10:30 to 11 a.m.

3 to 5 year olds Tuesdays - 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

3 to 5 year olds Tuesdays - 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.

Book Buddies

This is a club for kids in grades K5-3. Come for stories loads of fun!

Book Buddies meet Thursdays - 4 to 4:45 p.m.

Book Buddies dates and themes are:

January 24 - snowman mobile fun
February 7 - learn to cut paper chains
March 6 - magic tricks
April 3 - make and fly a kite

Snack Attackers

This is a book club for kids in grades 4-6. We'll talk books, attack snacks and have fun!

Snack Attackers meet Thursdays - 4 to 5:00 p.m.

Snack Attackers themes are:

January 31 - pig latin

February 14 - balloon workshop

February 29 - Leap Year pizza & Movie (NOTE: day/time change: Friday 4-7 p.m.)
Parents can drop you off at the lower level doors at 4:00 p.m. and pick you up at the lower level doors at 7:00 p.m. (Library closes at 6:00 p.m.)
We will be making pizzas and watching the movie the Snack Attackers group has chosen: Game Plan. Movie rated PG for mild thematic elements.

Friday No School Flick

Bring a pillow or blanket and join us in the Hunt Room for a great movie! Sodas and snacks will be sold.

Friday, March 28 - Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium - 2:00 p.m. in the Hunt Room. This movie is 94 minutes long and rated G.

Blooming Paper Thursday, March 27, 2:30-3:30 p.m., Hunt Room
For grades K5 and up

Celebrate spring break at the library. Learn to make paper embedded with seeds to plant when Spring finally arrives in Wisconsin.

Registration is required and begins March 10. Register in person or by phone 414-529-6150 ext. 10. Please have your library card.

American Red Cross Babysitting Safety Course Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24, 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Hunt Room
You must attend both sessions to receive certification.

Cost: $70.00 paid at the time of registration at the Hales Corners Library.

Participants must be 11 years old by June 23.

Class is limited to 12 participants, so early registration is advantageous.

Registration begins Tuesday, May 27.

Participants should bring a bag lunch to each session.

Full registration refunds will be given for cancallations prior to June 12. Partial refunds will be given for cancellations received after this date. There will be no refund given to no-shows.
