Carrots instead of Chips: Keeping your children healthy and fit!

Monday, May 12, 6:30 to 7:30pm : Are you concerned about your child's eating habits? Wondering how you can encourage healthy eating habits? Dr. Bavishi discusses tips for healthy eating and offers great suggestions for establishing good habits right from the start to ensure optimal health.

Dr. Bavishi received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and has an office with Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group in Oak Creek. In spring 2008, his office will move to the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - Franklin facility at the northwest corner of 27th Street and Oakwood Road. Dr. Bavishi's practice philosophy is based on his role as a parent and providing the same level of care to his patients that he expects for his own children.

The Oak Creek Public Library is dedicated to helping people of all ages and from all walks of life get the information they need to lead better lives. We provide members of the community with informational, educational and recreational materials and services of various types.

We are a department of the City of Oak Creek and a member of the Milwaukee County Federated Library System.
