NetLibrary
NetLibrary allows you free access to over 10,000 e-books at the Oak Creek Public Library, or from home.
At the library, you can view and access netLibrary e-books from any of the catalog or Internet computers. In order to access netLibrary e-books from home you do need to create a netLibrary account while at the Oak Creek Public Library (or any other public library in Milwaukee County).
To create an account, go to www.netlibrary.com and click on the link labeled "Create A Free Account" in the upper left corner. You must be at any of the public libraries in Milwaukee County to set up an account. Once your account is created, you can access netLibrary e-books from home and even "check them out" for a 24-hour period.

Accessing netLibrary e-books
E-books in the netLibrary collection can be found in the library's catalog or by visiting the netLibrary web site.
Through the library catalog:
Go to the library catalog and search for the Subject, Title or Words you are interested in.
In the search results, the catalog will designate e-books with the words "Electronic Resource" after the title and the e-book symbol will be displayed in the medium column. You can find only the e-books by clicking on "Limit This Search" and using "Ebook" as the material type.

Through the netLibrary web site:
Once you have created your account as described above, go to www.netlibrary.com and click on "Log In" in the upper right corner. You can then search or browse through the e-book titles that are available.
