The Friends of the Shorewood Public Library is a non-profit
organization whose members support the mission of the library. The
Friends sponsor a book discussion group, co-publish a
newsletter, and provide a book
sale shelf inside the library. The Friends also
volunteer time time at the library, performing tasks such as shelf
reading. Proceeds from Friends fund raisers help the library
purchase special resources like BookPage, NoveList and Value Line.
The Friends also sponsor special events for the community, like the annual
Summer Celebration.
