Coming up this week...

*1000 Books Before Kindergarten
For children who have not yet begun K5
Ongoing
Reading is a foundational part of all learning, and the years before K5 are the time to lay crucial groundwork. Reading together helps build skills like letter recognition and naming, speech and language development, making connections between printed text and spoken language, and more! These skills help set your child up for success, in kindergarten and beyond. 1000 books may seem like a big goal, but if you read just one book per day, you’ll be done in less than three years - and if you count books read at the library’s Story Times, you’ll be done even sooner!Visit Beanstack or stop by the Children's Desk to learn more and get started.
