If you have had a card within the last three years, you likely do not need a new card but instead need to verify your contact information and renew. To renew, you may come into any public library in Milwaukee County, or, you may use the form below.
No matter how you renew, plan to have two valid forms of ID ready to verify your current address and name. The number of IDs required varies depending on which library you renew with. It’s wise to have one of the IDs include a photo, along with a current document (paper or digital) that verifies your current Milwaukee County address.

- Online account statement from a utility or financial institution with your current address and dated within the past month. Statement can be printed or displayed from a mobile device.
- Recent report card from school
- Current school schedule with address
- Current insurance card with name and address
