A software upgrade is scheduled for Wednesday 8/26/26 from 9:30pm- 12:00am CST. This impacts all public libraries in Milwaukee County.
During the upgrade, CountyCat, the CountyCat Mobile app and all resources with a connection to our system software (e.g., Libby, Kanopy, Hoople) will be temporarily unavailable.
If you have downloaded titles from Libby or another eContent provider in advance, then you’ll be able to use them during the maintenance. You won’t be able to place holds, stream or download new titles during this outage.
