The Milwaukee County Federated Library System is proud to provide all residents with Hoopla, a digital media service that includes access to over 600,000 titles in six different formats— eBooks, audiobooks, comics, movies, music, and television. Patrons and staff alike enjoy the attractive, easy-to-use interface that is usable from a smartphone, tablet or computer. Best of all, there is no wait time!
However, it has come to our attention that funding for hoopla is depleting more quickly than we anticipated. Therefore, beginning June 10, 2019, we will be decreasing the number of monthly allotted borrows from 6 to 4 titles per person. The change will allow us to keep this service in place and continue to offer instant access to materials online.
We appreciate your understanding about this change which will help our libraries to offer this resource in a sustainable manner.
Thank you for your continuing support of libraries in Milwaukee County.
